Need a specific form or permit? Contact the Lake View Plantation office for an E-911 Addressing document or one of the officials below for a burn permit, a building permit or a plumbing permit.
Fire Permits

Building Permits
Any construction, additions or new buildings require a building permit from the Maine Land Use Planning Commission.

Plumbing Permits
A plumbing permit is required for:

Installation of septic systems, tank replacements, or septic field repair, including gray water cistern/drainage systems and outhouses

Installation or replacement of all water distribution and drainage pipes, faucets, valves, plumbing fixtures, and hot water tanks

Any building moved from its original location and relocated.

Any plumbing done inside or outside either by the owner or a licensed plumber needs a permit before any work is started.

A LUPC building permit has to be obtained for any changes to land or buildings before a plumbing permit can be issued.

It is the responsibility of the property owner to obtain the permit. Penalty fees will be doubled for noncompliance.

E-911 Addressing
If you need or have questions about your physical E-911 address please contact the office. In order to get mail and/or deliveries some services need an official town document from the E-911 Addressing Officer showing your proof of legal address. Please call the office at 207-965-8119 or email us to request a copy.
